Bne Seed Saver Newsletter 01.pdfHi All

I hope this email finds everyone well. Welcome to the very first edition of the Brisbane Seed Savers Newsletter. Eagerly anticipated, it is finally ready!

Please feel free to reply with any requests for content or contributions for this newsletter. Always remember, this is a specialised local group who are all interested in not only saving seed but growing our own food, so anything that you find interesting or helpful will likely assist other members too.

At this stage I am hoping that it will be a monthly occurrence, however this will depend on content and time. I am hoping that we can have our first meeting just before Christmas so we can share our stories and experience before the beginning of the festive season.

I am hoping that each issue of the newsletter will feature the following areas: (at least!)

Vegetable or fruit
Organic Solutions
Book Review

Also attached is a Membership Form, please feel free to pass this on to other local gardeners. This newsletter will be included as a blog on both of the following forums that I find very useful and I recommend all members to be active participants in – ‘we learn and grow together’:

Brisbane Local Food - http://brisbanelocalfood.ning.com/
Home Growers Exchange - http://homegrowers.ning.com/

Happy gardening…
